The Undocumented Papers: A collection of writings and essays surrounding the life and times of undocumented students and our fight for the DREAM Act. For now we are Dreaming to Live, but we hope that one day soon we will instead be Living the Dream.
This will be a painstakingly slow but an on-going project, for I tend to take a tediously intricate pace at developing my writing. My main focus and goals I plan to achieve are listed as the following:
*** To deconstruct the false rhetoric and denounce the rampant lies spread by the xenophobic anti-immigrant population.
*** To expose the courageous journey that undocumented students have endured and display the tenacious strength in their character and intelligence.
***To spread general information about the DREAM Act and surrounding expository issues such as the Selective Service Act and the founding case of Plyer V. Doe (backed by the 14th Amendment).
I plan on focusing my writings not from personal day to day life experience, but rather in an essayist format speaking on behalf of all dreamers.
Below are the Chapters of Dreaming to Live: The Undocumented Papers listed under the Table of Contents. Please feel free to comment on any of the sections, I appreciate the feedback.
